LONG ISLAND SERIAL KILLER: 2 NYPD COPS EYED

DETECTIVES hunting the Long Island Serial Killer are eying two NYPD officers who have both tangled with hookers in the past. According to the New York Post, one of the cops was forced out of his job in the 1990s for paying homeless women for sex while on patrol. He resigned after an internal probe. The other cop is on the rubber gun squad after being stripped of his badge and gun because he assaulted a hooker and was ensnared in a prostitute sting. A source told The Post: "They couldn't prove anything, but they didn't trust him."

So far 10 bodies have been found along a lonely stretch of Long Island beach. Four of the hookers had been strangled and wrapped in burlap bags. The four call girls found last year have been identified as Amber

Now, cops say it wasn't just the one incident. The suburban Philadelphia sicko has been charged with sex crimes with more than a dozen other children--some of them as young as 4. Most of the victims were children of friends and girlfriends. The errant inker now faces somewhere in the vicinity of 200 sex crime charges. Tally? Two adults and 14 kids. The assaults took place over the last 13 years and involved children ranging in age from 4 to 17-years-old, law enforcement sources said.

KANSAS MAN LIVED WITH DEAD FIANCE FOR WEEK

HE was apparently "praying for divine intervention" but now he's going for a mental health evaluation, after cops found he'd been living with his dead fiance for a week.   
Alerted by neighbors, who hadn't seen the 57-year-old for some time cops in Wichita, KS went round to the house to ask a few questions.
But when officers arrived the 54-year-old man didn't want to let them in.
But the horrific smell coming from the house made them insist and when they search the house they found the body of the deceased woman in the bedroom KAKE reports.

OHIO KIDS KICKED OFF SCHOOL BUS FOR FARTING

Officials from Columbus's Canal Winchester Middle School decided their wind was an "obscene gesture" and handed them one day suspensions for their gassy odor after the driver reported them.
One of them Anthony Nichols' father was baffled by the decision.
James Nichol's said: "Obscene gesture? I wouldn't call him an angel, but for passing gas on the bus?"
He explained that children being children, the flatulence apparently caused a ruckus on the bus amid a flurry of laughs, jeers and lowering of windows."

MISSING JERSEY TEEN SARAH TOWNSEND FOUND DEAD

HEARTACHE IN JERSEY. The desperate search for New Jersey high school student Sarah Townsend has ended in tears. The pretty blonde 18-year-old's body was found in a pond but detectives are saying there was no sign of foul play--but still remain stumped. She had been missing since Monday.
Cops said they found a note in Sarah's car and it included the words "I'm sorry."
Burlington Township Police Lt. Bruce Painter said:  "What's suspicious about it is there's a car found in front of a body of water, with her purse and cell phone still in the car. But there's no signs of anyone dragged into water, no blood, no signs of a struggle."

A NOTORIOUS bank robber who has been on the run for more than two decades has been busted for his role in one of the biggest cash heists in history. Pensioner put up artist Norberto Gonzalez Claudio, now 65, is accused in the robbery of Connecticut's Wells Fargo armored car facility which netted more than $7 million back in 1983.
While the FBI managed to arrest dozens of people connected with the crime, include tow of Gonzalez Claudio's brothers, they never managed to find him. So as his sibling served seven years behind bars, he lived a life on the lam.
