FOR LOOPY POL DENNIS KUCINICH LIFE'S THE PITS

OINK. OINK.
ODDBALL Ohio congressman Dennis Kucinich is suing the House of Representatives cafeteria because he bit down on an olive pit in a sandwich, which caused severe dental damage.
Sure to infuriate those who are feeling the economic pinch the Cleveland Democrat Rep, 64, is seeking $150,000 in damages from the companies that operate the Longworth House Office Building's restaurant.
Mr Kucinich who earns $174,000 a year said he bought the sandwich wrap "on or about April 17, 2008" and eating the snack caused 'permanent dental and oral injuries requiring multiple surgical and dental procedures.
His lawsuit claims:"'Said sandwich wrap was unwholesome and unfit for human consumption in that it was presented to contain pitted olives. "Yet unknown to plaintiff contained an unpitted olive or
olives which plaintiff did not reasonably expect to be in the food prepared for him, and could not visually detect prior to consumption."
Mr Kucinich's says in the official papers that he believes he is entitled to damages for future dental work and medical expenses and to compensate him for his pain, suffering and loss of enjoyment.
News of the case emerges just a day after President Obama talked of everyone tightening their belt during the State of the Union address last night.
The North Carolina based company that operates the cafe said they were reviewing the issue.
