THEY DIDN'T SEE EYE TO EYE. Å prominent Renton, Washington eye surgeon was convicted of hiring a hitman to whack his business partner. A King County jury found Dr. Michael Mockovak guilty of conspiring to kill Dr. Joseph King, the co-owner of Clearly Lasik Eye Surgery Center.
The evil eye doc was also convicted of: attempted first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree theft and attempted first-degree theft.
Facing up to 20 years in the BIG HOUSE the dirty gets sentenced on March 17--St. Patrick's Day.
At his trial, court heard the greedy doc paid $10,000 to have King
klipped but the gunsel was actually an FBI snitch. The prosecution painted Mockovak as motivated by money--King's $4 million insurance policy for starters--and a desire to have his partner see things his way.
