AN ax-wielding madman threatened his mother with an axe and then forced her to stay in his bedroom and watch movies.
Crazy Robert Tuttle, whose photo suggests a really high IQ had been drinking and became aggressive destroying the oven, refrigerator and bedroom door of his mother's Englewood, Fla, home with the ax.
When the 60-year-old challenged him, he swung the deadly blade at her but she managed to avoid it. 
Then he threatened to kill himself if she called the cops.

In a bizarre turn he forced her into his bedroom for a movie marathon, which lasted several hours as all the time he held the weapon.
It is not know if one of those movies was: "So I Married An Ax Murderer." 
Eventually she managed to leave and call the cops, who found a sword, an expandable baton and a baggie of marijuana in his room after they arrived.
He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was transported to the Charlotte County Jail, where he remains on no bond.
