BEAU PLEADS GUILTY IN OHIO MURDER-FOR-HIRE PLOT

A GREEDY girl triggered the downfall of four people. Taylor Marks, 21, was desperate to get her hands on her mother, Kristie Marks' ample cash. To do so, she enlisted her boyfriend, Brian S. Smith, 24, to orchestrate the scheme. On Monday he pleaded guilty to complicity to commit aggravated murder for his part in health care mogul Kristie Mark's slaying. She was stabbed to death Oct. 29, 2009.
Cops say evil Taylor offered $5,000 to Troy Purdie, 20, to murder her mom. Smith's role was to lure Kristie to an apartment complex where she would ultimately be stabbed to
death.
On a 911 call, Taylor frantically told the dispatcher: "My mom has been stabbed in the parking lot. She was picking me up from my boyfriend's house."
A MOMENT LATER, SMITH WAS HEARD: "He pushed her off of this wall thing, he proceeded to stab her. I went to jump down and he tried to cut me and then he ran up the street. I chased him."
Purdie remains in jail, awaiting sentencing on a charge of aggravated murder. Taylor Marks is awaiting sentencing on a complicity to commit aggravated murder. Both previously plead guilty to their roles in the crime. Smith will be sentenced April 5th, 2011 for his crime. He faces the possibility of life in prison without parole.
