GUILTY PLEA A DRAG FOR JAIL BOUND 'TOOTSIE BANDIT'

HELLO, DOLL!
LIFE'S a drag for the Tootsie Bandit. The transvestite bank robber faces at least seven years in prison after pleading guilty to robbery, and attempted robbery charges. Robert Deon Tyndall II, 56, a.k.a. the “Tootsie Bandit,” robbed the Inland Federal Credit Union in El Cajon of $66,000 last July while wearing women’s sunglasses, wig and makeup. Buoyed by his early success the crossing-dressing criminal attempted to rob a branch of Comercia Bank in January, but fled (presumably not on heels) when the manager refused him entry to the bank office.  A month later and Tyndall was in drag yet again, this time hitting a
Torrey Pines Bank branch in Mesa for $6,000. Searches of Tyndall’s apartment didn’t yield any of the stolen cash, or a firearm, but sources say he did have a stunning wardrobe.
