THUG GUILTY IN BLOODY CAROLINAS MASSACRE

KILLER: CORLEY
PLEA: GRESHAM
A MAN who butchered two sisters in a cold blooded killing that also left one of their husbands critically injured has admitted his part the brutal slaying.
William Canon Gresham, 25, was part of a two man team that repeatedly stabbed 66-year-old Eloise Corley to death, before attempting to rob her home in Salem, SC.
After killing her he started stealing with pal, Shawn Hayden Owens, but the deadly pair were disturbed by her husband Jerry and sister Audrey Scull, 62.
In a brutal execution the pair then marched them into the woods at the back of the home and shot them.

Astonishingly Jerry Corley survived and was able to direct deputies to their home, where they found his mauled wife's body.
Charged with with two counts of murder, two counts of kidnapping, burglary, assault and battery with attempt to kill, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime and larceny, Gresham had been facing the death penalty.
But after  agreeing to testify against his co-defendant he will now look at a life behind bars.
