RODNEY KING ARRESTED FOR DUI: NOT BEATEN THIS TIME

RODNEY KING
THE man who was videotaped being brutally beaten by four cops, sparking the 1992 LA Riots when they were cleared has been busted on suspicion of  DUI.
King who has admitted problems with sobriety publicly and appeared on 'Celebrity Rehab' in the past was pulled over after Moreno Valley cops saw him commit several traffic violations.
Riverside County Sheriff's spokeswoman Courtney Donowho said no arraignment date has been set.
King had already had several run ins with the law when in March 1991, he was involved in a high speed chase with cops.
The first five LAPD officers to arrive at the scene were Stacey Powell, Laurence Koon Timothy Wind, Theodore Briseno, and Rolando Solano.
After tasering King, they proceeded to beat him with their batons, unaware they were being filmed at the time by George Holliday.
But despite the videotape the officers were cleared of using excessive force, sparking riots in LA.
King later claimed to have been heavily affected by the attack and had drunk as a result.
