LEONARDO DICAPRIO MISTAKEN FOR ARMED THIEF

'ROBBER'
HE'S probably got one of the World's most recognizable faces, but when he walked into a Sydney Jewelry store a worked thought Leonardo DiCaprio was about to rob the place.
Trying to blend in with a hoodie, baseball cap and dark glasses as one of his minders walked up to the door and started to keep watch, as he strolled in to buy a present for his mom.
Family Jewels shop owner Kane Kelfkens told The Sydney Daily Telegraph that his sales assistant Linda and a customer in the shop at the time feared the worst.
He said: "Linda was working on her own and I was next door grabbing a coffee.  When the two big bodyguards approached, the customer sees what's happening and says: 'This doesn't look good.'"
"Linda sent the customer next door to get me, thinking the shop is about to be robbed by these guys. By the time I get in there Linda has realised who she was serving and let me know everything was all right."
He added that once they'd figured out who the Hollywood A Lister was, that he was "very friendly" and he told staff he was looking for a gift for his German mother, Irmelin.
He picked out a Nepalese antique necklace set with the semi-precious stone lapis lazuli and coral worth about $1600.
Leo, who is dating Gossip Girl star Blake Lively, is staying in Sydney while filming the Baz Luhrmann movie, The Great Gatsby.
