REV MARK BIDWELL'S DEADLY GAY SEX & DOPE PARTY

METHHEAD MINISTER
A PERVY pastor's gay sex and drug party turned to tragedy when a man died of a suspected meth overdose, cops say. Rev Mark Bidwell told cops that he'd invited Steven Fitch over for sex after meeting him on a swingers website the night before. When he got to his Ferndale, MI, home, he'd shot up some crystal meth and then later injected highly respected Police Chaplain and preacher at the Metropolitan Community Church.
The men had sex and invited a third man over to join the orgy and a short time later Fitch got back online and searched for another man to invite to the party. The third man arrived and met both Fitch and Bidwell upstairs.
His name has not been released because he is considered a witness in an
ongoing investigation, but he told cops that when he arrived Fitch was wearing only a shirt and both he and Bidwell were fooling around.
According to the police report, after a while the third man says he noticed that Fitch was slumped over and appeared to be asleep.
He says he then went over and checked on Fitch and saw that he was turning blue.
The third man says he then helped Fitch to the floor where he began CPR until Fitch started to vomit.
It was at this point that Bidwell contacted the Ferndale Police Department.
The casual nature of their relationship became clear when the police released the tapes of the frantic 911 call Bidwell made after Fitch collapsed.
"I don't even know. We just met today," the preacher told the dispatcher, when he was asked his age.
The 911 dispatcher asked Bidwell if Fitch was using any other narcotics.
"Um. I don't know,"he replied.
Ferndale Mayor Dave Coulter said Bidwell is a respected member of the gay community and is involved in the entire community.
He told Local 4: "This is not the Rev. Bidwell that I or most of us know," Coulter said. "I am shocked and sad and worried for him."
Police said Bidwell has been relieved of his chaplain duties at the Ferndale Police Department, but added there was no evidence to charge Bidwell.
