THE MASTERMIND accused of luring a 15-year-old to an abandoned house, shooting and battering him to death with his pals and dumping his body in a fire pit refused to say a word at trial yesterday.
Michael Bargo is accused of encouraging Seath Jackson's ex-girlfriend text message him, asking to meet her at an Ocala, FL home.
But rather than reconcile his relationship he was set upon by Bargo and his pals  Justin Soto, 20; Charlie Kay Ely, 18; Amber E. Wright, 15; Kyle Hooper, 16.
Bargo allegedly beat him with an axe handle and shot him twice, in what must have been an excruciatingly painful death.  
The vicious gang stuffed his body in a sleeping bag and burned it in a fire pit before dumping his remains in paint cans.  
But asked by Assistant State Attorney Amy Brendt whether he killed the teen, he took the cowards way out and immediately invoked his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination.

Circuit Court Judge David Eddy asked Bargo if he would continue to invoke his right if questioned further. Bargo said he would.

The judge ruled Bargo was not available to testify and then the jury was brought into the courtroom.

However the state's first witness Crystal Anderson went on to testify that Bargo confessed to her about beating, shooting and burning 15-year-old Seath.

Bargo fled to Anderson's home in Starke shortly after the incident. Bargo had dated Anderson's daughter for about six months.

She told the court: "He said he has done something crazy. He said he shot him eight times. I was scared." 

She added that Bargo told her that they disposed of the remains in a flooded limerock pit.

When asked why she did not immediately call law enforcement after Bargo told her what had happened, she said she was scared.
