A FORMER Texas gym coach has been charged with having a lesbian affair with one of her 14-year-old students. 
Rebecca Delagarza, 26, allegedly had steamy sex encounters with the girl in her office and the storage area of the school locker room, the victim admitted to cops. 
And during their eight month affair she exchanged more than 22,000 texts with the girl, one of which was found by the girl's mom, who reported her to cops. 
In addition, some of the school’s employees reportedly told police that the girl spent an extensive amount of time in Delagarza's office. 
Delagarza was slapped with two charges of having an improper relationship with a student and two charges of sexual assault of a child.
If convicted, she could face up to 20 years in prison, according to KTRK.The Thompson Intermediate School put Delagarza on administrative leave as the investigation came to light over the summer.
In a letter sent to parents, the school said: "Any time a teacher allegedly violates the trust of a child, it makes it more difficult for the thousands of teachers who care deeply for the safety and well-being of the children."We will continue to work together to provide a safe and secure place for your children to learn."

Delagarza was released after posting $30,000 bond and her case was reset to November
