'SEXUAL PREDATOR'

DIRTY Jerry Sandusky's potential number of victims has more than doubled in the case with the number nearing 20.
The highly respected Penn State University football coach Sandusky was described as a "sexual predator" who preyed on underprivileged young boys that he worked with through a charity.
As we reported here the defensive coordinator, now 67, allegedly abused at least eight underprivileged boys he had promised to help after meeting through his charity, the Second Mile Organization.    
The charges came to light after Sandusky began grooming a boy of 11 or 12 with expensive gifts and trips to sports events after meeting him through his Second Mile Organization.
Then he began physical contact during overnight stays at his home.
Now MyFoxPhilly is reporting that there may be as many as 17 accusers coming forward after state officials put out two phone numbers for potential victims to call.
While at least two members of coaching staff have resigned over allegations that they covered up for Sandusky, head coach Joe Paterno remains in his position.
University trustees will however appoint a special committee to investigate the scandal which has rocked the school.
But the station is reporting that behind the scenes  there's every indication that trustees are moving to oust Paterno over his failure to act more aggressively to stop the growing sex scandal.
Sandusky meanwhile was supposed to have a preliminary hearing today on dozens of child sex abuse charges but court officials decided to push that back until Dec. 7.
He is currently free on $100,000 bail.
