FACEBOOK SPAT LED JENNIFER HARRIS TO ARSON

ANGRY
WHAT is it about Facebook and crime this week?
Yesterday it was Dana Thornton who faked an account for her ex-boyfriend so she could do him down.
Today, it's Jennifer Christine Harris, who allegedly burned her pal's house down after she "unfriended" her on the social networking site.
Jim and Nikki Rasmussen were roused from their beds with a huge boom and crackling flames.
Thankfully the family managed to escape unharmed and when officers asked Jim if anyone would want to harm his family, he only had one name for them, Jennifer "Jenn" Harris.
His wife told them that they had been longtime friends and Harris had even been the maid of honour at her wedding.
But according to the Des Moines Register their relationship ended when ended her former bff, “said horrible things about me on Facebook.”
She told the paper: “I unfriended her and blocked her so I couldn’t see what she was saying. But we have mutual friends who could see it.”
Rasmussen added that their relationship started falling apart when they tried to put together a birthday party for Harris, “but there just wasn’t enough time.”
Harris, an elementary school teaching associate, was charged with first degree arson and is being held in the Polk County Jail on $100,000 bond.
