WOMAN DYING OF CANCER HOPES TO FIND MOM'S KILLER

A MONTANA WOMAN who has been on a desperate quest to find her mother since she vanished in the Louisiana Bayou in 1956 hopes new evidence will give her answers.
Dekki Moate has now given DNA to cops in the hopes of finally identifying recently uncovered remains. Over the years Moate has criss-crossed the country looking for her mom--even appearing on Unsolved Mysteries. She still has fond memories.
"She was very supportive, she made me believe I could do anything," says Moate.

A CALIFORNIA CANAL has given up the body of a small child feared kidnapped by his mother's ex-boyfriend. Stanislaus County Sheriff Adam Christianson said the body was found Tuesday morning from the Mendota Canal and detectives fear it is four-year-old  Juliani Cardenas.

TROUBLED STARLET Lindsay Lohan could be in trouble with cops--again. According to the Los Angeles Times the former actress is under investigation by the LAPD in connection with a theft of a $5,000 necklace from a jewelry store.
Cops say, LiLo was seen in a store video wearing the necklace--which then disappeared. After detectives began investigating and preparing a search warrant, a Lohan hanger-on brought the necklace to a nearby precinct. Hmmmmmm.

AL QAIDA assassination plotter Abu Ali had his life sentence upheld for conspiring to kill then President George Bush by the US Appeals Court.
Texas-born Ali signed confessions and made statements admitting to the plot after being picked up in Saudi Arabia where he was studying in 2003.
He also admitted to being part of an Al Qaida cell.But his attorneys claimed at trial he had been tortured into confessing by the Saudi police.

A WEIRD woman who tried to pop a live puppy in the mail has been busted for animal cruelty.
Stacey Champion, 39, left one Minneapolis postal worker stunned, when the air-mail package started to move by itself, fell to the floor and started panting.  
After unwrapping the tightly sealed box, they rescued the four-month-old black Poodle-Schaunzer mix pup which she had tried to mail to Georgia.

TWISTED SWISS PEDO ABUSED OVER 100 DISABLED KIDS

A DISGUSTING Swiss therapist has admitted that to sexually abusing more than 100 special needs children in care homes.
Cops say the unidentified 54-year-old abused the children in nine different care homes in Switzerland and Germany over a 29-year period.
He was arrested in April last year, but authorities are refusing to reveal the identity of the man who has worked as a therapist since 1982 to prevent the investigation from being impeded by media interest.     
The head of Bern police's special investigations unit, Gabriele Berger said that the evidence against the man includes photos and hours of video recording the abuse.

HE'S best known for his defensive qualities, but Minnesota Vikings rookie Everson Griffen has been busted for attacking a Cop.
The linesman was arrested in for assaulting an officer during traffic stop by LA cops, his second in three days after he was hauled in for being intoxicated in public on Friday.
Officers had to use a taser to subdue the rowdy former University of Southern California star after he became "uncooperative and tried to run from officers" according to Police spokeswoman Karen Rayner. 
He apparently failed to show identification to officers before attempting to flee on foot, according to celebrity gossip site TMZ
