Friends and family pay tribute to Beverly Carter

Family and friends remembered slain real estate agent Beverly Carter as an "amazing woman" and a loving mom at her funeral Saturday.
Friends described her as a woman who brought laughter to those around her, adding that she was very successful at her job.
Her son Carl Carter Jr. called her his inspiration and his rock in a post on his Facebook page, shortly before he funeral.
After the 50-year-old went missing while showing a home on Sept. 25, her body was found five days later in a shallow grave in Cabot, a suburb of Little Rock.

Cops charged Arron Michael Lewis in connection with Carter's death, but he pleaded not guilty to charges of kidnapping, capital murder and four counts of a felon in possession of firearms in Pulaski County Court on Tuesday.
However, in earlier public statements the 33-year-old said she was targeted because she was a "rich broker" and a woman alone.
