EVIL MOM TELLS DEATH PENALTY JURY: 'I'M READY TO DIE'

TWISTED TORTURE MOM Angela McAnulty told an Oregon death penalty jury deciding her fate she's at peace--whatever their decision. And they decided she should die.
The mother from hell pleaded guilty to aggravated murder in the sickening death of her daughter, Jeanette Maples, 15. She faces execution or life in prison. The shocking slaying stunned even veteran detectives as the court heard witness after detail a catalog of horror.

The young girl was mutilated, tortured, starved and tormented beyond belief. The young girl tried to survive by stealing food from the kitchen, drinking water from the toilet bowl. And she slept on a piece of cardboard--so her blood wouldn't stain the floor.

"I am very sorry for hurting my daughter in a very bad way," McAnulty told the jury and apologizing to detectives who busted her. "I want you to know I did wrong, and I am at peace with your decision."
Prosecutor JoAnne Miller was having none of it.
"We're not talking about an angry drunk," Miller said. "We are talking about a cool-headed killer."
Defense attorney Ken Hadley offered the jury another way to view McAnulty:
McAnulty grew up in an environment where starvation and beatings were inflicted on children as punishment.
