A CANNIBAL who ate a five-year-old boy will be killed if he's released from jail the boy's father has threatened.
John Foreman vowed revenge on Michael Woodmansee who was just 16-years-old when he kidnapped and killed his son Jason back in 1975.
His murder was not discovered until 1982, when Woodmansee, now 52 tried to lure another child into his Rhode Island home.   
That led cops to discover  Jason’s bones in a dresser along with a journal which detailed the gruesome killing. 
Although it's thought he may have eaten his victim, it was never proved in court because he pleaded guilty to second degree murder, which was meant to spare the family from hearing the gruesome details and jailed for 40-years.
Now, 12-years before his sentence was due to finished, the killer could be paroled for good behavior and despite the length of time John Foreman is willing to risk being imprisoned himself because he can't forgive or forget what the twisted killer did to his boy.
He told WPRO-AM radio: "I do intend, if this man is released anywhere in my vicinity, or if I can find him after the fact, I do intend to kill this man."
Foreman and his wife Joice were celebrating her 25th birthday when the boy was snatched.
No one suspected the disturbed Woodmansee who later told police he had fantasised that: "It would be easy to kill someone, easy to get away with it, and some form of fun."
And for eight years  no one suspected the gruesome truth - that the twisted killer had killed the boy then removed his flesh and hid his bones.
But in April 1982, the secret emerged when a bearded Woodmansee invited a 14-year-old newspaper delivery Dale Sherman into his house. 
After giving the boy booze, he attempted to strangle the teenager who managed to escape.

This prompted cops to question him about Jason and although he denied the charges initially he eventually confessed.

Cops said they don't know if he plans to return to the are but a spokesman for the South Kingstown Police Department said: "We do not know what his plans are or if he is [planning on coming back here], but it is definitely something we plan on discussing."
