GARGANTUAN of Geek Edward Kramer who has longed claimed to be too ill to face the music for sexually molesting young boys bedazzled by his collection. Funny, how do you end up in a hotel room with a 14-year-old when you're that sick? The founder of DragonCon was charged with reckless endangerment of a child and apparently claimed he was the boy's guardian (fox in the henhouse, anyone?) His lawyer was "flabbergasted."Kramer, a sci fi author who co-founded the popular science fiction and fantasy convention DragonCon, was first charged 11 years ago in Gwinnett County, Georgia with multiple charges of child molestation and aggravated child molestation. Three teen boys claim he sexually abused them after dazzling them with action figures, sci-fi memorabilia and his celebrity connections. His lawyers said he was physically incompetent to stand trial...and there you have it. A judge ruled he could travel. In court appearances in recent years, Kramer has used a cane while walking and breathed oxygen through a plastic face mask. A source said at least three witnesses saw a different side of Kramer in Connecticut.
He said: "The movie is being filmed in a campground, in a fairly rural area. Mr. Kramer was hiking on the trails, didn't require a cane, didn't have his breathing apparatus and didn't ride in his wheelchair."
