REBECCA ZAHAU'S BODY TO BE EXHUMED BY DR PHIL

EXHUMED
THE MYSTERIOUS death of a millionaire medical mogul's girlfriend in his California mansion is to be re-investigated after Dr Phil agreed to pay to exhume her body.
Rebecca Zahau, who was also known as Rebecca Nalepa, was found hanging from the balcony of Jonah Shacknai's 27 bedroom, Coronado, CA home known locally as Spreckles mansion.
Her arms and legs were bound and as an odd message which read "She saved him. Can you save her," was found daubed in black paint on the bedroom door.
The 32-year-old's death came just one day after she found Shacknai's son, Max, was found severely injured at the bottom of the mansion's grand staircase, when she was supposed to be looking after him.
He later died from his injuries, which the San Diego medical examiner ruled accidental, although as we reported here the  boy's physician Dr Brad Peterson said there were signs of suffocation, which may have occurred prior to his fall.
Investigators also ruled that Zahau had committed suicide, determining there was no evidence of foul play or a struggle before she died.
But as we reported here, her family have always maintained that she did not take her own life, claiming that in text messages leading up to her death, she had vowed to stay strong for Shacknai, who was at his son's side in hospital.
Now Radar Online is reporting that Dr Phil, who recently scored a major interview with Casey Anthony's parents, is hoping to shed new light on her death.
Her family have yet to comment but former San Diego police detective Rick Carlson told KGTV: "It's definitely not too late for things like DNA and toxicology."

  1. The truth will be found and I am glad excellent people like Dr. Phil have come forward to help this family. To exhume and conduct another autopsy as well as all other investigations that need to be done is not cheap. A show that should give this case the national attention it deserves is the right thing. I wish the Zahau family my warmest regards during this very difficult time. I hope answers will finally be given and the truth come to light. The family is still waiting investigative files and personal property they were promised more than a month ago. It would be nice if SDSO could accept that this case will not "just go away" with stall tactics and PR SPIN. Chief Gore needs to do the right thing.

  2. Nothing ever added up in this case. People want answers and aren't happy with the ones provided.
