CUSTODY FIGHT TOOK TOLL ON LAURA JEAN ACKERSON

A FORMER boyfriend of murdered North Carolina mom Laura Jean Ackerson said that in recent emails she described how bitter her custody fight was. Detectives found Ackerson's dismembered remains in Texas Wednesday. She had been reported missing July 18. Her former boyfriend and the father of her two boys, aged 3 and 2, Grant Ruffin Hayes, 32, and his wife Amanda Perry hayes, 39, have been charged with murder.

LAURA JEAN ACKERSON'S KILLERS USED A MACHETE

THE PORTRAIT of the man accused of murdering and dismembering pretty single mom Laura Jean Ackerson is at odds with the twisted act of bloodlust he's been fingered for. The torso of Laura Jean, 27, was discovered in a creek near Houston, Texas--far from her North Carolina home. LAURA JEAN ACKERSON MURDERED BY EX AND HIS WIFE

UPDATE: LAURA Jean Ackerson's ex-husband his current wife have been charged with murdering and dismembering the the pretty mom of two. Grant Ruffin Hayes, 32, and his wife, Amanda Perry Hayes, 39, are accused of killing Laura Jean. She had two children with Hayes and the pair were involved in a bitter custody dispute.
