ONE OF the two Connecticut home invasion killers is claiming he has murdered 17 people--then collected their sneakers as trophies. Evil Steven Hayes wrote in a letter obtained by the New Haven Register, the death row residing sicko, was convicted in the slayings of Jennifer Hawke-Petit and her daughters, 17-year-old Hayley and 11-year-old Michaela during a botched home invasion.

THE FATHER whose wife and two daughters were murder in a sickening family slaughter said the case had left a "jagged hole" in his heart after one of the killers was found guilty yesterday. 
Joshua Komisarjevsky could join his co-accused Steven Hayes in a date with the death penalty after being found guilty of 17 charges relating to the gruesome 2007 home invasion.
After breaking in the deadly duo, viciously smashed William Petit with a baseball bat before tying him up with his wife Jennifer Hawke-Petit and their two daughters, Hayley, 17, and and Michaela, 11. 

JURY TO DECIDE FATE OF PETIT MASSACRE SUSPECT

A CONNECTICUT jury will begin deliberating today on the fate Joshua Komisarjevsky who is accused of taking part in the sickening slaughter of a prominent family during a brutal home invasion. The ex-con could join his co-accused Steven Hayes in a date with the death penalty. The prosecution says Komisarjevsky took part in the 2007 attack where Petit family members were tied up and left to die in a house fire.
