THE TV weather girl who sparked a huge manhunt by crying rape and then admitted she made it all up for attention has been sentenced to 350 hours of community service.
Crazy Heidi Jones, 38 who before her career plummeted forecast weather for WABC/Channel 7 and filled in on “Good Morning America, will do one hour for every hour of police time she wasted.
She will also serve three years probation.
The mad meteorologist told cops that a man had attacked her in Central Park last September and again outside her apartment in November.
But when a detective spoke to Jones again, she admitted she'd fabricated the assaults, the court the court complaint said.
She said:  "I made it up for attention. I have so much stress at work, with my personal life and with my family."
