THE SEARCH has been long and agonizing. Thirty-three years to be precise. That is how long detectives in Columbia, Mo. have been searching for the elusive killer of Rebecca Doisy, who vanished on August 5, 1976. Oh, detectives eventually figured out who did it, it just took a very long time to find him. Part of the problem was that Doisy's body could not be found either.
"There were a lot of dead ends," said Chris Egbert, the Columbia police detective who pursued leads until he retired in 1993, in an interview with the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Cops say the girl's mom came home from work and when she went to kiss the little girl, she knew something was wrong.

URGENT: 4 DEAD IN HOME ON FLORIDA GULF COAST

POLICE IN Tarpon Springs, Florida are investigating the deaths of four people found dead in a home. Cops say an alarm call around 1:55 a.m. alerted them to the carnage. Inside the home, were four dead people that detectives believe may be a murder suicide.
According to the St. Petersburg Times, a woman saw a man fleeing a jewelry store next to Silver Bullet Guns. She nabbed the nearest cop and five minutes later an alarm went off at a home two miles away.

 A fire destroyed the gun shop. Property records show the house is owned by Sarah Schriebman.

LAPD SEZ MICHAEL MADSEN IS A DEADBEAT DOG

KILL Bill star Michael Madsen has had a warrant issued for his arrest for allegedly not paying child support.
The deadbeat dad who made his name as a brutal cop killer in heist classic Reservoir Dogs and other Tarantino movies allegedly owes more than $500,000 according to reports.
 According to court documents, obtained by celebrity gossip site TMZ, Madsen was found in contempt of court earlier this month after failing to show up at a hearing regarding his child and spousal support case.
The 53-year-old actor is said to owe around $570,000 in debt.
Los Angeles Police Department issued the warrant Monday morning and set his bail to $26,000.
Madsen has two sons with Jeannine Bisignano and is currently married to Deanna Morgan.

MAD Marni Yang's defense attorney's wrapped up their case in just half-an-hour yesterday but only after the jury heard that her alleged victim had desperately tried to shield her unborn daughter.
Dr. Manny Montez, the forensic pathologist who conducted Reuter’s autopsy said that as she was shot Rhoni Reuter, the pregnant girlfriend of former Chicago Bear Shaun Gayle, had wrapped her left arm around her abdomen in an apparent effort to protect the baby.
He said: “The arm is covering the abdomen in a protective manner."

THE 12-year-old boy who brutally shot his parents and wounded two of his siblings will have nine charges filed against him including two counts of first degree murder. 
Charles and Marilyn Long were found blasted in their Burlington home but new details released by prosecutors allege that the boy tried to hurt his five-year-old sister with knife and shot his brother, nine. 
They are expected to recover from the injuries given to them by their brother, who authorities are still deciding whether to charge the boy as an adult.

DIAMOND shiesters, who hired to men to dress up as Hasidic Jews and rob their store at gunpoint in an audacious insurance fraud have now tried to bribe a judge.
Atul Shah and Mahaveer Kankariya who both face up to 15-years when their sentenced in April reportedly asked a bail bondsman if the lawman could be bought.
According to the New York Post, Manhattan Supreme Court Justice threw them back in jail last week after one of them asked, "Is there any way I can bribe the judge?"
Prior to that both had been allowed to remain free pending

"HORRENDOUS" 13 DAY ASSAULT BY SPURNED NEIGHBOR

A SPURNED lover subjected his former neighbor to a "horrendous" 13 day kidnapping, beating and sexual assault because she rejected his advances.
Jeffrey Allan Maxwell abducted the 62-year-old woman at gunpoint, shackled her and repeatedly assaulted her.
Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler said: "This is a horrendous case. We are glad she is getting the treatment necessary to overcome a horrific ordeal."
Parker County officials, along with the Texas Rangers, began investigating the woman's disappearance earlier this month when her house reportedly burned to the ground and she was nowhere to be found.
