A TWISTED Texas teen raked in thousands of dollars after convincing her hometown that she was dying of leukemia  and had six months to live, cops say.
Cancer con-woman Ruth Angelica Gomez preyed on people's sympathy to rake in more than $17,000 through an organization which she set up called Achieve the Dream.
Hundreds had responded to pleas she made at motivational talks and fundraisers including students at Da Vinci High School who threw a prom party/fundraiser for her after she told them that she had missed her own senior prom because she was in treatment.
