A JILTED lover who faked a Facebook profile for her cop ex-boyfriend which ripped him to pieces can be prosecuted for identity theft, cops ruled. 
Angry Dana Thornton created the page using pictures and personal info about the narcotics detective which said he was "high all the time" and had herpes, Assistant Prosecutor Robert Schwartz said.

THE BRIEF and tumultuous marriage that ended with a sensational murder-for-hire plot is now over.
As we reported here, former escort Dalia Dippolito tried to bump off her husband Michael, so she could get her hands on his Boyton Beach, FL home.
But the former escort girl's plot was foiled when the former lover she'd approached to find a hitman, tipped off the cops.
They set up an elaborate sting operation and caught Dippolito's crocodile tears on video, when they told her that her husband had been killed, which immediately caused a sensation.

A COP KILLER is in custody after he senselessly shot an officer for pointing a stun gun at his two dogs. 
George Hitcho Jr allegedly blasted officer Robert Lasso, 31 with a shotgun after he attempted to make him control his animals. 
The 46-year-old had apparently told him couldn't come onto his Freemansburg, PA property and then in a moment of madness he aimed a stun gun at the dogs he blasted the married father of two. 
But although he was rushed to hospital, he was pronounced dead shortly afterwards. 
His mom Elsie Stem told The Express Times: "He was so loved, especially by his kids. Now they have to grow up without a daddy. It's not fair.

THE MOM of the brother and sister team who allegedly robbed a bank and shot up a police car has begged them to "give themselves up."
Barbara Bell has urged her son, 21-year-old Ryan Edward Dougherty his brother Stanley Dylan Dougherty, 26, and daughter 29-year-old Grace Lee E. Dougherty to "turn themselves in."
Armed with at least one AK47, the terrible trio dubbed "the deadly Dougherty's" are accused of walking into a bank in Valdosta, GA, firing shots into the ceiling and demanding cash.   

HERO COP CATCHES BABY THROWN BY KIDNAPPER

IT was probably the most important catch he'll ever make, as one hero Chicago cop snagged a baby thrown at him by a kidnapping subject trying to get away. 

Arriving on the scene, witnesses pointed to a man in his 20s who they said had taken the tot, who was less than a year old. 

As they approached the man, he turned and tossed the baby high into the air and scrambling, the officer caught it, ensuring it wasn't hurt, reports The Chicago Sun Times.
