A BODY found Saturday has been confirmed as missing California nursing student Michelle Le, cops say. 
Officers had feared the worst when the badly decomposed corpse was found in a brushy, remote dirt trail in a rugged canyon near Sunolby which we reported here.
But her body was so badly mangled that it took a series of tests by the coroner to confirm the horrible news. 

SEARCHERS FIND HUMAN REMAINS: IS IT MICHELLE LE?

A BODY found Saturday is likely missing California nursing student Michelle Le, law enforcement sources say. The body was discovered in a brushy, remote area near Sunolby a volunteer searcher who was among a group looking for the remains of the murder victim. Alameda County investigators sealed off access to the crime scene. The area has been previously searched by Hayward police.

A FORMER high school friend of missing California nursing student has been arrested on suspicion of killing her. Cops say Giselle Diwag Esteban hated missing Michelle Le, 26, because she was friend's with her baby's father. Michelle was last seen three months ago leaving a Bay Area hospital. MISSING2: MICHELLE LE CASE RECLASSIFIED A HOMICIDE

THE FAMILY of a California nursing student who vanished 11 days ago are praying for her return--even though cops fear she's dead. Michelle Le, 26, was last seen leaving a Hayward, Calif. hospital May 27--her car was later found locked blocks away. Forensics have forced detectives to classify the case as a homicide, including surveillance, cell phone records and evidence garnered via search warrants. But her family is not having it.
Her father Son Le said: "To us, if you call something murder case, you have to have a body." He added the family has been kept in the dark
