WHITEY BULGER TRIAL: 'I'M NO STOOL PIGEON'

Whitey Bulger has always denied he was a stool pigeon despite the fact the FBI has a boatload of files revealing that the Boston crime kingpin was indeed, a rat.
In an interview with NBC NEWS former G-Man Robert Fitzpatrick said that's always been the tune the mob canary has whistled.
Fitzpatrick told NBC: “When I interviewed him, he said he was not an informant and I found that odd because my whole reason for going out there was to assess him as an informant.  The worst thing for an Irish guy in Boston is to be a tout, [informant]. He said he would never testify.”

A FORMER Miss Iceland and B Movie actress has reportedly claimed the $2million reward for turning in the fugitive Boston mobster James Whitey Bulger, after she bonded with his girlfriend over a stray cat.
Veteran actress Anna Bjornsdottir, 57, allegedly got to know Catherine Greig, over the animal which lived near Whitey's Santa Monica apartment, while she stayed at a hotel across the street.
But after she returned home to Reykjavik, she saw a TV report on the one time leader of The Winter Hill Gang and realized that the woman she knew as Carol Gasko, was one in the same. 
Now the Boston Globe is reporting that the FBI has paid her $2 million in reward money for the tip off, which led to the arrest of the one time leader of the city's notorious Winter Hill Gang.

1. WHITEY WON'T TURN CANARY : A former member of Whitey Bulger's notorious Winter Hill Gang says that the most powerful Irish-Amercian gangster in the country won't flip for the feds. His secrets will go with him to the grave. The source, who didn't want to be identified for fairly obvious reasons told the Boston Herald: “He knows he’s never going to get out. The only one he may try to help is her. He does love her, and he’ll never see her again."
However, the former lawyer for one-time Bulger rival Francis “Cadillac Frank” Salemme says that the gangster's history of informing for the FBI says otherwise. He said: "He's a bonafide rat."

NOTORIOUS mob boss James "Whitey" Bulger has been sensationally captured after nearly 16-years on the run. 

The FBI caught up with  onetime pooh-bah of the notorious Winter Hill Gang - and inspiration for Jack Nicholson's whacked out gang chief in The Departed - living happily with his longtime girlfriend Catherine Greig, 60, in Santa Monica, CA. 

He was arrested without incident and it's thought he will now be returned to Boston where he is wanted for the murders of 19 men and women along with a litany of other charges.
