BK BANDITS BUSTED. EMPLOYEE STOLE GETAWAY CAR

A DASTARDLY pair of ham-burglars were left in a pickle, when a restaurant employee foiled their attempted robbery by sneaking out the back and taking their getaway car. 

Cops were easily able to ketchup with the pair, who ran into the Burger King in Stockton, CA brandashing guns and demanding cash. 

But as the two men were inside robbing the restaurant, another cashier snuck out the back where he noticed the suspects getaway car with the engine still running. 

Driving it away, he hid it round the corner and called the cops. 

Officers told CBS Sacramento that suspects Gabriel Gonzalez and Jeremy Lovitt panicked when they ran out and couldn't find the vehicle and ran into a nearby field.

As they barged their way into Jeanne Thomas's empty home, these thieves thought they were onto a winner.  
What they hadn't bargained on was the fact that she was watching them on an internet feed from her home webcam and on the phone to the cops. 

Thomas, 43, had switched on the internet feed  in the hope of her to see her dogs playing, she expected little more than a bit of distraction from work.

IN what cops are describing as "the lesser of two evils" two thieves have turned in a pedophile after they stole his child porn stash thinking it was blank CD's. Dumb Kraig Stockard even reported that the 50 or so CD-R's had been stolen from his home. 
The juvenile and a 19-year-old had pinched them in the hope of burning music onto them, but when they put them into their computer they found that more than 30 of them contained child porn. 
Deputy Tom McKenzie of the Merced County Sheriff's Department told Fox 40: "A family member convinced the two suspects to come forward, they contacted law enforcement." 
He added that he was surprised that Stockard had reported them missing in the first place.

HE WANTED to take aerial photos of his home, instead he spotted two men taking stuff from it.  Steven Lynn was soaring above his home snapping shots, when he saw two men pull up with a trailer and help themselves to his stuff. 
He told KLTV: "I looked down, and sure enough, there was a truck hooked onto a trailer, and guys were loading stuff up."
A stunned Lynn quickly got on the phone to the cops and the to his uncle, who raced round to the home.   
Then they flew down low over his home in a bid to put them off.
He recalled: "It didn't seem to faze them that we were buzzing over in an airplane; we got down pretty low."

SOMETIMES it takes good old fashioned detective work, sometimes it's the latest DNA technology, or sometimes the thieves accidentally ring you from their pocket and tell you all about their crimes.
That's exactly what happened in upstate New York this week when when the 911 dispatcher picked up the phone and heard three crooks plotting their next crime.
Onondaga County Sheriff Kevin Walsh says police who were already looking for a suspicious person got the unlikely assist, when one of the plotters "pocket dialed" his cellphone's emergency number while driving near the scene of an earlier heist.
