THERE are bad parents and then there are Mary and Christopher Sultze - who decided to starve their baby because they were afraid she would end up obese. 
Doctors began tracking the girl's lack of growth and weight gain at her four-month checkup in November 2010, when she weighed just 7 pounds, 9 ounces.
Rather than help them the Sultze's told them that they were concerned about their daughter's weight and insisted they were feeding her enough.  
Months went by with no significant improvement and as one doctor told the court yesterday, "the child had no fat on her body and we essentially starving."

TO THEIR neighbors they looked like a kindly couple, with a large but happy family made up of kids from their marriages, included two adopted twins. 
But behind closed doors cops now say Jeff and Sandra Weller were far from nice and they've now accused them of starving and beating the 16-year-old siblings who were adopted as toddlers in California by Sandra Weller and her first husband.
According to a court document, they told cops: “for as long as they can recall, food in the home has been under lock and key, and they are fed very small amounts of food an average of once a day."
When they were caught, the Wellers forced them to take off their pants and underwear and lie on the kitchen floor while Jeff Weller beat them with a 42in wooden stick, often making them bleed.

A PAIR of twisted  parents have been accused of locking their naked daughter out in freezing temperatures and causing her to die of hypothermia in what prosecutors have called one of the worst cases they've ever seen.
Hanna Williams,13, was found naked and wrapped in a sheet of the back garden of her adoptive parents Larry 47, and Carri Williams, 40, Mount Vernon, WA, home.
Skagit Count Prosecutor Richard Weyrich told King 5 it was one of the "worst cases I've ever prosecuted."

A TWISTED mom starved her daughter to almost half the average weight for her age and kept her in a closer because she looked too much like her father. 
Evil Asusena Marie Gonzalez's five-year-old daughter weighed just 19lbs and was so severely malnourished that the bones in her joints were visible, cops said.   
With her legs and arms painfully thin, officers also found she was covered in marks from being beaten with a cord. 
One officer said: "When I spoke with her, she did not focus on my face and uttered words I could not comprehend."
Social workers told The Oklahoman that the 31year-old's other five children appeared healthy, but Gonzales allegedly targeted the little girl because she looked the most like her father, and the couple had fallen out.
