'SMURFS' MADE SARAH BOUSHEY DRIVE DRUNK

SHE was so wasted that she was seeing little blue men and couldn't remember her own name. 
This was after she'd smashed her car up. 
But then Sarah Boushey, came up with a novel excuse for her horrific drunk driving - she'd been watching "The Smurfs" movie with her daughter. 
Worse still, it was her four-year-old who filled in the blanks - like her name - bluntly telling cops: "she's drunk."   
San Francisco cops found the incoherent 42-year-old had a blood alcohol limit of more than three times the legal limit, which probably had something to do with the half-empty bottle of vodka in her purse. 

WENDY LYNN TRONGO HAD TOTS IN BACK, BOOZE IN BELLY

WHAT IS it with Michigan moms? Seems to us a lot of them get hammered and drive with their kids in the car, like say, Wendy Lynn Trongo, 33, of suburban Detroit. Cops say Wendy (Wild Wendy to friends) had a blood-alcohol four times the legal limit when she crashed her car Sunday. The 33-year-old veteran party girl's two kids--ages 1 and 3--were in the backseat and were turned over to their father.

OH DEAR. Going on a booze-a-ramma hopped up on Viagra and the warm glow of a 26-year-old woman sounds terrific. Just one thing: don't get in your car, like uh, Ohio Republican Rep. Robert 'Bobby' Mecklenborg who was busted for drunk-driving way back in April--and it's all on at tape released Friday.

RICK SPRINGFIELD PLEADS NOT GUILTY IN MAY DWI

* RICK SPRINGFIELD PLEADS NOT GUILTY: A lawyer for Rick Springfield--famous for soap operas and '80s hit Jesse's Girl--has entered a not guilty plea on the singer's drunk driving charge. Springfield (about a thousand years-old now) was arrested May 1 in Malibu, Calif. for speeding in his 1963 Corvette.
Cops say his blood alcohol level was 0.10. Whoops. Legal limit is 0.08.
