DNA LEADS TO SECOND CLEVELAND SERIAL KILLER

HARWELL
CREEPY TONY
OHIO INVESTIGATORS are stunned by new DNA findings that have linked a second man to serial killings in the Cleveland area. The discovery comes hot on the heals of 11 bodies found in the Cleveland home of Anthony 'Creepy Tony' Sowell.
"This is wild stuff," said Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Bill Mason. "One serial killer leads us to another one."
After the bodies were found in Sowell's home in 2009, the city's cold case squad
launched a probe into other murders in a three mile radius. They got two hits: Mary Thomas, 27, and Topndilear Harge, 33. Both murders have now been linked to convicted killer Joseph Harwell. Both women had been raped and strangled. Sowell, indicted on 85 counts including aggravated murder, rape and kidnapping, is currently awaiting trial. He has pleaded not guilty.
