CHARLES HENRY TEAL: 'HE BEGGED ME TO SHOOT HIM'

A MAN accused of shooting his best pal in the head has told cops: "he begged me to shoot him." Charles Henry Teal, 26, told cops he shot Jeffery Scott Bension, 39, in a mercy killing after his pal told him he had terminal cancer. In the affidavit he said that his pal had begged him for several minutes to kill him, before he pulled the shotgun trigger and blasted him in the side of the head. Cops said the two men were friends and had just moved in together after they met in a bar. According to KVAL Bension's body was found near the remote spot near Roseburg, OR, where the shooting took place, by a hunter. It has yet to be established whether he had terminal cancer, but friends told the station that they had always got along well and could not imagine any other motive for the killing.

THE SEARCH for missing beauty Robyn Gardner was ramped up yesterday when a team of cadaver dogs searched through cactus and brush on the gorgeous holiday isle of Aruba.
The 35-year-old has been missing since early August, when her boyfriend and prime suspect Gary Giordano reported her missing, but to date no body has been found.
He has denied wrongdoing and said Gardner was swept out to sea while they were snorkeling off the southern tip of the island.
But it subsequently emerged that the 51-year-old described by the island's solicitor general Taco Stein as "a mean bastard" had a $1.5 million life insurance policy her.

Angry Sandra Jarrett was mad that the package which her husband claimed held "valuable jewels" she'd left in a hotel on vacation and arranged to have sent back to her Minnetonka, Minnespta home.

I GOT YA: IPHONE APP BUSTS PICKPOCKET

AN BRAZEN thief has been caught on an iPhone camera after he set off a crime busting photo app called iGotYa.
The light fingered pickpocket used the traditional bump and run method to lift the smartphone from the 31-year-old woman's handbag. 
But after entering the wrong passcode into the phone, he triggered the app and it took a clear picture of him and e-mailed to her.
The savvy woman, who has not been named, recognized the shaven-headed man in the picture as the one who robbed her and passed the details on to cops who released the photo.

THE DISTRAUGHT parents of 10-month-old Lisa Irwin, who was snatched from her crib on Monday night are pleading with her kidnapper to "please bring her home."
Deborah Brandley, who cops have described as "cooperative" begged her daughter's abductor to drop her off somewhere and for the public to provide tips.
She told KCTV: "We just want our baby back. Please bring her home. Our two other boys are waiting for her. Please. Drop her off anywhere, we don't care, just somewhere safe. Where she can come home, please."
