A WASHINGTON woman is blaming the Twilight series and Robert Pattinson for local cops stonewalling on her daughter's mysterious death. America Gonzalez is claiming that cops in Forks, Washington where the teen vampire series is set, won't look into her daughter's death because it could scare away fans of the series--the Twihards--who arrive in droves to the town and potentially film production. The distraught mom says her daughter, Debra Dawn Grajale, 45, died in February but the death was ruled a suicide. Grajale had earlier threatened to kill herself after splitting with her boyfriend. IT REALLY wasn't the send off they were expecting.
They thought they were going to watch a touching video tribute to their elderly deceased friend but instead they were greeted with horrific child pornography images. Josue Rivera, 38, who illustrates for DC Comics and has done covers for comics, including "The Creeper: Welcome to Creepsville," several "Dr. Fate" issues, and more was immediately picked up.

Police seized Rivera’s home computer and found as many as 153 files
OK, WE admit it. We find rural drug busts irresistible, particularly when they are accompanied by mug shots. It was a dope bust in Grainger County, Tennessee. We don't really know anything about it and couldn't be bothered to look but the mugshots are great. MUGSHOTS FROM KNOXVILLE NEWS-SENTINEL
A TEXAS cop was shot and killed in a cold-blooded ambush at a traffic light, according to published reports. Sgt. Kenneth Vann of the Bexar County Sheriff's Dept. was waiting at an intersection early Saturday when a white compact pulled up next to him and started shooting through the front passenger window. He was found dead in the driver's seat. Chief Deputy Sheriff Manuel Longoria told the Express-News that Vann was responding to a call for an accidental shooting. Deputy Chief Dale Bennett said: "He did not have a chance to do anything, hit the emergency button on his radio, or even to defend himself. That car pulled up and started blasting, just like that. So where we are right now is that it looks like an ambush."

BLACK magic mom Tenitza Colichon forced her seven-year-old daughter to watch as a goat was decapitated and made her eat chicken heart in a bloody ceremony which she thought would protect her.
The twisted mom admitted in court to making her daughter watch as the animal and a chicken were killed in the voodoo ritual in a Paterson, NJ home.
The 33-year-old said she thought the rituals, which also included scratching a religious symbol on the girl's skin, would protect her daughter while she was away doing basic training after enlisting in the army.
The girl later told a teacher what had happened and said it was giving her nightmares and the school contacted police.
When cops searched the home where the ritual was performed turned up dolls, a shrine, religious statues, bones, machetes and bundles of sticks bearing numbers and names.
HOW'S THIS for piss-poor luck? Meathead John Powell, 25, is at a party. Playing games. Sez to blonde party girl Tiffany K. Startz, "for $5 you can punch in the face." Good clean fun, right? Well, our 22-year-old heroine popped him all right. Poor John collapsed and died. In an Illinois courtroom, a judge ruled Tiff must stand trial after a judge refused to drop charges against her and the party host. His mom Theresa Guy says: " She can't walk away." Her lawyer says (and we agree) that Startz didn't commit a crime.
According to cops, Jimmy E. Mounts, 27, offered guests at the Sept. 25 party $5 to take a punch from Startz, 5-foot-5 and 142 lbs. Powell, 5-foot-8 and 140 lbs., accepted the offer. He took the punch, collected his money and continued talking with friends. He collapsed a few minutes later and the coroner said he died of a
