MAD MARN'S EX TAUGHT HER HOW TO SHOOT

GUN LOVER
MURDERED
MAD Marni Yang's ex-boyfriend taught her how to shoot, regularly took her to the gun range for practice he testified yesterday.
Cook County Sheriff’s deputy, Salvador Devera told the court they dated for five years during which time Yang also started a relationship with former Chicago Bear, Shaun Gayle.
Authorities contend Yang killed Gayle's pregnant ex-girlfriend Rhoni Reuter after developing an obsession with him.
Devera told the court that Yang was not familiar with guns when they first met, but
quickly obtained a Firearm Owner’s Identification card so she could go to the shooting range with him for target practice.
Catching the bug she collected at least four handguns during their time together, including a 9mm Beretta, which she later told Cops went missing in a robbery.
The gun that killed Reuter was also a 9mm.
Crucially, she didn't tell Devera  it was gone, which he called: "a big deal."
He said: “A missing gun would be bigger thing to worry about than a missing camera or missing game system."
Later he told the rapt jury that he did not recognize an Enterprise Rent-A-Car receipt showing his credit card used to rent a car on Oct. 3, 2007 - a car which cops think Yang rented to carry out the killing.
Devera started dating Yang in 2002 after meeting her at a bar where she worked.
But three years into their relationship the pair mat Gayle while working security at a Bears convention.
Shortly afterwards Devera said he suspected Yang had developed a relationship with Gayle.
He said: “I suspected Shaun Gayle. It appeared to me he had an eye for her. He had taken a liking to her.
“I suspected she had been cheating on me for a while. It was just a feeling I had. Her children hinted at me that she might be going behind my back.
The trial continues.
