FOREIGN: CRISIS HUNT FOR MISSING TWINS

COPS IN Europe are in desperate race against time in a search for 6-year-old twins girls kidnapped by their father. Canadian-born Matthias Schepp was found dead last week on train tracks near Bari, Italy. Cops believe that the desperate dead killed himself. But there was no sign of the girls.
ACCORDING TO CNN: Interpol issued an international Yellow Notice missing persons alert Saturday for Alessia and Livia Schepp. Such notices are distributed to police in Interpol's 188 member countries to help find missing people, especially children. The sisters were reported missing Jan. 30 when their dad took them from their home in St. Sulpice, near Lausanne in western Switzerland, according to Interpol. He had been suffering personal problems.
The hunt is focused on Switzerland, France and Italy.
The girls are blonde and about 3 feet, 9 inches tall. Livia was last seen wearing a green T-shirt, jeans, a violet ski jacket, and Adidas sneakers. Alessia was wearing a T-shirt with red and white stripes, jeans, a brown jacket, and black shoes.
