AN eight-year-old boy snuck a loaded gun into and sold it to his classmate for just $3, NYPD cops said.
Thankfully the buyer took it home for a little show and tell with his mom after class and his terrified parent stormed in the Thomas Dooley school demanding answers.
It's unclear how the third grader got hold of the 0.9mm pistol, but the boys father Ignacio Galvin, 54, was later busted on three counts of criminal possession of a weapon, cops said.
Galvin, who is the registered owner of the handgun, was also charged for acting in a manner to injure a minor.
School Chancellor Dennis Walcott said: "It's really a sad situation when you have an 8-year-old who brought a gun into school and then sold it for 3 dollars. That's something that can't be tolerated."
He was still in custody Thursday night, but officials said the case will be handled through family court the NY Daily News reports.
