FAMILY GUY KILLER: EMAILS SHOW WIFE NOT SUICIDAL

IS THIS ever going to go to trial? For nearly four years Illinois has been anxious to try suspected Family Guy Killer Christopher Vaughn but because of delays it just keeps dragging on. Now, according to the Chicago Sun-Times Will County prosecutors want to admit email and Internet chat evidence from Vaughn’s wife, Kimberly, to show the 34-year-old woman wouldn't dream of harming her family, as her husband’s defense claims.
Christopher Vaughn is accused of murdering his wife and children, Abigayle, 12; Cassandra, 11; and Blake, 8, in June 2007.

Vaughn’s laughable defense is that Kimberly was depressed and suicidal, and shot him in the leg while the family’s SUV was parked off Interstate 55. Then she turned the gun on her children and herself while her hubby was out of the vehicle, Vaughn told cops.
The prosecution filed a motion late last year asking that the emails between Kimberly and her husband, sister, co-worker and fellow students at the online University of Phoenix will show she wasn't depressed or suicidal. Oh, and the lawyers are going to argue about it May 10.
