MOM OF THE YEAR |
But that's exactly what Sylvia Aranda, 37, did after verbally sparring with her 17-year-old as she drove her daughter on Monday.
At some point the teen hopped out of the car and onto the sidewalk near their Glendale, AZ, home.
But rather than take a moment to cool off, Aranda decided to put pedal to the metal, smashing up the sidewalk and hitting her, before driving off into the sunset.
Cops say she didn't return to the scene to check she was okay, until paramedics had already arrived to treat the girls injuries, which thankfully were very minor.
Though the traumatized teen was lucky enough to avoid a trip to the hospital, Aranda on the other hand earned a trip to jail where she was charged with assault and domestic violence. They were eventually dropped at court for lack of probable cause although the commissioner said they charges could be filed again at some point in the future.
