Mom who broke into cars: 'I was looking for ISIS'

HURLEY, MISSISSIPPI -- Best. Alibi. Ever. A Mississippi woman plastered in tattoos who was pinched for breaking into cars wasn't really stealing. No, no, no. She was hunting Islamic State terrorists, she told surprised cops.  Lisa Carol Roche, 41, was nabbed burglarizing the vehicle.
Roche allegedly pinched sunglasses and other items from the cars. But after she was arrested, she told cops she was on a search and destroy for jihadi fighters.

TEACHING A boy to drive often falls to dad. It's just that usually they're closer to 16, not 8. Billy Joe Madden of Hattiesburg, Mississippi (where else) was hammered, according to cops, and so while he had a snooze he had his 8-year-old take over the driving while they traveled from Mississippi to Texas. He was doing the speed limit, Louisiana State Police said, adding he had to sit on the edge of his seat to reach the gas. His 4-year-old sister sat in the backseat. The child’s driving was apparently so erratic that it alarmed motorists, who called police.
His 28-year-old father--named Hattiesburg's best dad last year--was booked for child desertion and allowing a minor to drive. The vehicle was a green Chevy pick-up. Pretty dumb, huh?

BETTY WALKER TRIED TO SHOOT DOG; KILLED HUBBY

SHE WAS supposed to shoot the pit bull named 'Cocaine'--but instead Betty 'Quick Draw' Walker put two bullets into her husband's chest in a bizarre Jackson, Mississippi. According to cops, 'Cocaine' "lunged and tried to attack some children." That's when Betty pulled out her gun and fired, hitting hubby Robert Walker, 53, in the chest. He was dead in the hospital two hours later. 'Cocaine' was only wounded.
But Robert Ferguson, 19, whose cousin owns the pit bull told the Jackson Clarion-Ledger that the dog isn't aggressive and is kept in a fenced in pen when the owner is out. He heard the gunshots and saw poor
