AL QAEDA: WHO'S NEXT ON TERROR HIT LIST?

OSAMA Bin Laden may be dead and gone but he has been a mere figurehead in the organization for some time. The real power lies with a number of individuals who will now fight to take over as America's public enemy No 1. They include:  Ayman al-Zawahiri. Bin Laden's number two for some time, the Egyptian born into a nice middle class family, has been the terror groups chief commander and its operational and strategic leader for some time. The qualified surgeon was referred to as the "real brains" of orgainisation, by Bin Laden's chosen biographer. It's thought like Bin Laden he is in Pakistan.

Saif al-Adel, is a member of its military committee. He is thought to have established the group's training facility at Ras Kamboni in Somalia and may have trained Somalis who took part in the first battle of Mogadishu against US forces which saw two Black Hawk helicopters shot down by rocket propelled grenades. There is $5million bounty on his head. He's believed to be in Iran.
Anwar Awlaki, the American born cleric called "the most significant risk to the US" in a Homeland Security meeting recently. Thought to be in Yemen he preaches hate filled messages online, encouraging lone wolf or small cells, which are almost impossible to trace, to attack American targets.
