A COLD-BLOODED poacher night hunting in Louisiana shot to death a veteran wildlife officer, cops say. According to law enforcement, the body of Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Enforcement Division Sgt. Paul Stuckey, 47, was found by fishermen near the banks of the Mississippi River outside St. Francisville. Stuckey had a shotgun wound to his chest as he lay dead next to his patrol vehicle.
In a statement, the agency said: "Our hearts go out to the Sgt. Stuckey family and his extended family of fellow agents will be there to help them through this tough time." Stuckey's last known communication with the department was at 2:15 a.m. identifying that he was responding to a night hunting complaint. POACHER GUNS DOWN WILFLIFE OFFICER
