BUFFALO BEHEADING TRIAL BEGINS FOR TV POOH BAH

Fighting stereotypes
A TV executive who started a network designed to combat Muslim stereotypes is now on trial for beheading his wife. Muzzammil Hassan had gone to cops in suburban Orchard Park February 2009 telling them his wife, Aasiya Hassan, was dead.
The broadcaster--who was chief executive officer of Bridges TV--took detectives to the network's offices where they found Aasiya decapitated, the victim of a sickening orgy of violence and hatred.
He has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder and has fired three defence lawyers. His wife--who was general manager of the network had recently filed for divorce.
