COPS CLOSING IN ON '99 SLAY OF FED LAWYER

MURDERED
DC COPS say they have ID'd two suspects in the bizarre disappearance of a high-flying government lawyer in 1999. Detectives believe Joyce Chiang was snatched from her home in posh Dupont Circle in the capital with the intention of robbing her.
Recently, investigators say Chiang was taken to Anacostia River where she likely died trying to escape her killers.

According to FOX DC:  "Joyce Chiang was last seen walking on Connecticut Avenue the night of January 9th, 1999. She was on her way to a Dupont Circle Starbucks where she planned to get a cup of tea. From there, Chiang told friends she would walk the five blocks to her home on Church Street.
But on that bitterly cold night Chiang disappeared. For days it was a complete mystery until the I-N-S Attorney's Government ID and other belongings were found on the banks of the Anacostia River near the Douglas Bridge."

GOOD OLD BOBBY
MEANWHILE, COPS in the Chicago area have charged a former biker in the 1982 slaying of another biker. Detectives say Robert "Bobby" Bostic, now 70 but 42 at the time, shot to death Carlton Richmond, 31, a married dad of two in Round Lake Beach.
Bostic was arrested Tuesday in Tennessee
ACCORDING TO THE CHICAGO SUN TIMES: "Authorities said Bostic, who was 42 at the time, and Richmond were members of a motorcycle club that used a garage at 811 Oakwood Drive as a clubhouse, and that the two had a discussion before Bostic shot Richmond with a handgun. Several people were present, but until now no charges had been brought."
