THIRD SEASON JERSEY SHORE CRIME RECAP

SNOOKI. That one word is enough to send chills down the spine of anyone who has ever read a book. Well, we're getting a bit of a break from the over-tanned non-talent but before we say goodbye, it's a good opportunity to revisit the cast of MTV's Jersey Shore and recap their various run-ins with the law.
* Snooki gets arrested for getting hammered on the beach. Yeah, Snooki.

* Ronnie getting jailed for not paying his parking tickets.
* The entire cast being sued after a woman claimed she was assaulted by the show’s security guards, MTV’s highest ever rated show continues to find the cast members into all sorts of trouble.
And this season?  Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, 24, was convicted last year for punching the lights out of a man in a 2009 brawl. Though the cast member admitted to the crime, he applied for the pretrial intervention programme in order to avoid being thrown in the slammer.
If approved, he’ll get to join the other cast members when the fourth season starts shooting this spring abroad in Europe. Those poor, poor Europeans.
On the flipside of that same incident, Steven Izzo Jr., the poor victim knocked unconscious by Ortiz-Magro attempted to block the release of the Jersey Shore DVD which featured the fight. Unfortunately, Izzo’s bid failed when the judge declared that he had “failed to demonstrate any financial or irreparable harm” he would face from the distribution of the show’s season. Izzo had stated that he did not think Ortiz-Magro should get rich off of his pain.
Check back for Season 4 when the gang finds themselves in Italy, a move that should have some audience members raising their eyebrows—the New Jersey Italian American Legislative Caucus previously accused the show of ethnic stereotyping, a controversy that has only increased the show’s ratings.
Come back Paris Hilton, all is forgiven.
