BOXER BUSTED IN 1981 VEGAS COLD CASE SLAYING

IT may have come 30 years late, but in Nevada justice may finally have been served. Eleanor Walker, mother of a murdered beauty queen Jamey Walker has waited since 1981 for police to tell her three important words: we got him. Still in high school, Jamey, 18, was kidnapped and held for ransom, allegedly by Willie Shannon, before she was thrown to her death off a bridge at Lake Mead.
According to Eleanor Walker, Shannon, a former boxer who was busted in Florida, probably victimized many other women over the course of his twisted life—making her proud of never letting go of the case or
giving up hope.
SHE SAID: "Thirty years of people telling me to give up to the point that I had to cut some of those people off. It's hope and trust more than anything that I trust in god to bring this person to justice."
Shannon is being held without bail; cops believe he didn’t act alone in Jamey’s abduction.
