IN HAPPIER TIMES |
Jackson, MO, Police have named James 'Clay' Waller a "person of interest" in her disappearance and they suspect foul play may be involved.
Police Chief James Humphreys said: "He's not cooperating the way we hope he would."
He added that his investigation team will conduct more searches this week in the area where her car was found abandoned along a Missouri state highway.
Police suspect that the scene may have been staged to look like an abduction.
Clay Waller allegedly told police his wife walked away from the home on foot after the two argued, but as we reported here his family also think that he knows more than he's letting on.
Humphreys added that cops searched the home where Clay Waller was temporarily living within 72 hours of the investigation.
He added detectives also uncovered valuable information from the woman's computer that he described only as "personal diary type" in nature, saying it: "was pretty important to us."
Anyone with information on Jacque Sue Waller is being urged to call the Jackson Police Department at 573-243-3151.
