AS he smashed the hammer deep into her skull, Tyler Hadley's mom only had one question for the crazy teen - why?
According to his best pal Michael Mandell, the psycho 17-year-old stood behind his unwitting mother Mary Jo, for five minutes before eventually smashing her in the head.
Then as she beseeched him not to kill her, he smashed smash her once again.  
Mandell also told WPTV that when Hadley's father Blake, walked into the room and saw the bloody scene, the pair locked eyes, before he started beating his father with the hammer, too.
Ahead of his attack the boy took his parents' cell phones away ahead of the attack so they couldn't call for help according to his friend's account.
Mandell explained that as dozens of friends partied at their home, Hadley invited them out for a talk and told them about the murder.
When they didn't believe him, he pointed to his parents cars parked in the driveway and then a bloody footprint in the driveway.
As they were still unconvinced, Hadley then led them to the grisly scene in the bedroom, where he'd left their battered bodies.    
He told them that he was surprised by the fact that it took him three hours to clean up the blood. 
Finally he told him that he planned to take painkillers before the cops got to him, but he clearly failed to kill himself. 
 Hadley's public defender Mark Harllee entered a not guilty plea, but refused to comment further.
