WOMAN-HATING TRUCKER JOHN BOYER: SERIAL KILLER?

A WOMAN-HATING trucker is suspected of murdering prostitutes around the south. John Boyer, looks as the AP says, like a kindly grandfather. He is anything but. Now, Boyer is accused of murdering three hookers and suspected in a fourth killing. He has already pleaded guilty to murdering one woman North Carolina and now faces charges he killed in Tennessee and South Carolina.
Investigators probing the slew of murdered women that litter America's interstates are asking local authorities to look into any cases
that may match. According to a published report, he even gave his own lawyer the creeps.

Det. Scott Smith said: "I think there are a lot more. There's no telling. This guy traveled all over the country. Hopefully we'll get more of these cases solved through DNA."
When asked about a particular murder, the charming Mr. Boyer, never married and lives at home with mom, replied: "What bitch are you talking about?"

* Boyer picked up prostitute Jennifer Smith, 25, in April 2005, brought her to an abandoned parking lot just off Interstate 40. The two argued over money, and Boyer strangled her.
* Michelle Haggadone, 34, pictured. Her body was found in April 2000 beneath pine straw at a parking area on Interstate 20 near Florence, about 30 miles from the truck stop where Boyer had picked her up.
