THE FUGITIVE killer busted after more than 40-years on the run is claiming that he should not be deported because he is a Portuguese citizen. U.S authorities are trying to deport George Wright, 68, to serve the remainder of his 15 to 30 year sentence for the 1969 murder of WW2 veteran and father of two William Patterson. It's thought he went on to hijack a plane and secure a $1 million ransom, one of the biggest at the time, for the 86 passengers on boards, before escaping to Algeria. Read more
